I enjoy making field recordings on a mini-disc recorder and using the sound samples to create compositions. I am particularly interested in creating sound environments rather than musical compositions. Along with these examples, I use the same methods to create the soundtracks for my video work. I also like working with analog equipment to synthesize sounds. Software I like to work with includes Pro Tools, MAX/MSP, Logic, After Effects and Sound Hack to name a few. I began taking Experimental Sound classes while studying Digital Video as an undergraduate at the Atlanta College of Art.
