As in all of my time-based work, I am interested in how a composition can stimulate memory and how memory can, in turn, effect composition. In 2004, I started collaborating with other video artists such as Monica Duncan, Neil Fried and Aaron Miller to produce multi-media performances dealing with memory. Subsequently, Neil Fried put into motion the Residency Arts Workshop (RAW) at his studio and residence, Railroad Earth, which began many experiments in performance and narrative including a recent collaboration with veteran sound artist, Pauline Oliveros.
